About the origin of Life on Earth

This talk is about fascinating facts and interesting theories about the puzzling origin of life on Earth. I will start with an overview how Earth geologically developed and trace the evolution of life on Earth. We will look into a few curious turns that Nature took along the way. Then, I will focus on the origin of life, the first reproductive biological systems. A puzzling fact is that life on Earth developed extremely quickly, although the step from non-living matter to living systems appears to be very improbable. We will look into potential solutions to this conundrum with surprising implications.
